Hand-Entry Topo Example Although I have experience downloading data from either digital files or data collectors, here is an example of modeling a topo map from a survey performed without a data collector. The surveyor simply manually entered the information on paper and handed me his field notes. I then added an aerial photo for verification as well as the lot lines based on the recorded tract map for the area being surveyed. This provides me a means of back-checking my information.
