So I’ve been working on repairing the parking brake on my wife’s 2003 Toyota Sequoia and had an absolute nightmare figuring out how the assembly all went back together. So I obtained the Toyota factory service manual and tried to interpret the exploded diagram of the system. Boy was that a mistake. I guess this is why I’m a technical illustrator by trade. So here’s the before and after I did on the diagram…

I added color-coded lines to better see the different paths as well as indicated more informative call-outs. Anyways, I’ll be publishing my own guide shortly but I thought I’d toot my own horn first on this new diagram!
